Production Blog

SHANGHAI, CHINA

November 10, 2007 1:15 AM

It seems that at the end of a production, time compresses. It gets dense. There is some kind of warp that happens where a day feels like a week and a week passes in a moment. I was shocked to read our “Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor” family comments and realize that there has been a considerable gap between posts. I regret that, family, but I invoke the above sense of time as my defense.

A great deal has happened on the movie: we have successfully moved to Shanghai, we have finished Jet Li’s time with us in the movie and today, I finish sweet, sweet Michelle Yeoh. I have two weeks of a crazy chase and a few days of the O’Connell Family drama in Jonathan’s Egyptian-themed nightclub in Shanghai named appropriately “IMHOTEP’S,” complete with scantily clad dancers, live orchestra and deco motifs.

Jet was great to the last shot, his suffering under the curse of Zi Yuan (Michelle), which involved considerable discomfort for him in real life, but he took it like the pro he is and turned it into something unforgettable.

We shot all the scenes in the Emperor’s Throne Room with a team of Chinese culture advisors constantly helping me with Qin dynasty language, ceremonies, and behavior. Every film is a journey in which you learn new things about life at every level. This film has been packed with new knowledge, that “art” and “intellect” people would stand at the Emperor’s left, “military” at his right; that musicians were not allowed swords, that no one was ever allowed to turn his back to the Emperor, on and on. But the film gods dwell in the details. Even if it’s a world with which you’re not familiar, it feels true. Generalize them at your own peril.

Another great thing that has happened is my re-union with my 20-year old son Kyle who coincidentally is here in Shanghai at Fudan University. He’s taking his junior year abroad away from Sarah Lawrence College to learn Mandarin (a very smart choice for the future, I believe considering the cultural/business/and political renaissance that’s taking place here in China). After three months apart, it was just wonderful to see him, to meet his Chinese friends, to hear him speak Mandarin. He looks dubbed!

Also, my wife Barbara and I learned that we are expecting two boys and a girl so life couldn’t be finer. She posted a comment a while ago to thank all of you for your good wishes.

Last night our Action Unit, directed by Vic Armstrong, blew up a trolley on a main street in the Shanghai Bund section as part of our massive chase sequence. In this scene, Rick, Evy and Jonathan have hijacked a fireworks truck (it’s Chinese New year, 1946) and are chasing the Emperor Mummy and Anthony Wong through the streets. They take out the mother of all rockets and aim it right at the fleeing chariot. Jonathan lights the fuse with his Dunhill and it rips down the boulevard. The Mummy deflects the rocket straight into the trolley. Vic and I had set eight cameras and the damn trolley blew ten feet straight up off the ground with a fireworks display that could be seen from outer space! Special On-set Effects Supervisor Bruce Steinheimer designed the event with an extensive team of American and Chinese fireworks experts. The concussion was so intense it broke every window on main street and the rockets' red glare set the third story of the set on fire. It was glorious!

Well, I hope this post makes up in length for the gap between updates. Right now I have to get back to the task of filming Russell Wong in a love scene with Michelle Yeoh. Two more beautiful people were never created.

Bye-bye for now….

Rob

Very cool and looking forward to this film. Never knew before that IESB had done a review of the near completed shooting draft... I refuse to read it in anticipation for this, though!

-Michael

Wow! Rob, did you say you are having triplets!!!!???!!!! That's so exciting!!!! Well done you two!!!!
We too have met up with Kyle on the site, which really pleased us all. It is so nice to have your family joining in with the fun.
Please tell Barbara to take it nice and easy and give her my congratulations.
The update is great! Don't worry, we knew you would be very busy with the filming so we were trying to be very patient.
Keep up the good work Rob. We know this film will be fantastic!!!!

Congrats, Rob, Barbara, & Kyle - That is so wonderful! I really wish nothing but the best for all of you.

Thanks for the update. It's always great to read something new and this Chinese New Year's sequence really sounds awesome. I remember you had mentioned it in a few posts ago but not in as much detail as you've described it now.

Okay, well best of luck to you, your ever growing family, and the cast & crew. I'm with you all the way until the DVD release of this movie! :)

Hi Rob! Hi Family! Oh, thanks so much for this great update. Don't worry - we amuse ourselves while you are busy and the friendship we have found with each other is second to none. May I second Maz's congratulations to you and Barbara - have you started to think of names yet?
Nice you are now with Kyle. It's so brilliant Barbara and Kyle take time out to talk to us.
The firework scene sounds incredible. Wow - I wish I could have been there.LOL. We are behind you with everything you are doing, knowing that you want to deliver the best movie ever just for us! Loving the Egyptian stuff too and the combination is going to be fantastic!

Suzie

Just a few words for now, cuz I´m almost speechless...
This sounds indeed GLORIOUS!!This movie It´s gonna be something unforgettable indeed, and Rob, we love you! You are great !! And such a prolific Daddy too !! LOL LOL LOL
Well, Barbara & Rob: we are now multiplying all the Best Wishes and Good Vibes we are sending by THREE!!!! Good Bless you dears !

Well, now I have a little job to do on IMDb...LOL LOL LOL !!

HELLLL YEAAAHHH!!!! GO TEAM COHEN !!
Delilah

OK, I´m back from the IMDb´s board. Don´t worry warriors...I was extremely polite this time. You will be proud of your sister.LOL. Plus, I found a new thread where a guy named "forsage" is posting many links to many amazing pics ! Some of them are those that we have here...but there are some that I had never seen before: he says they are from the Czech distributor...and OMG, they are exquisite !!!... ( ahheemmm....specially one of some Big Gorgeous Hunk wearing a
tuxedo ! OMG, I´m dying. It´s not the "regular" Mr.O´Connell´s look...but WOOOWWWWW!!!! )Many pics of Michelle and Isabella ( they both are gorgeous) and Luke, who looks pretty cutie too.
I asked the guy if I could post here the link to the "whole package" of pics ( you can download it like a .zip file) cuz maybe some of you didn´t have an IMDb´s account...

Rob, you are so right " Every film is a journey in which you learn new things about life at every level "...the same goes for us, the public. I´m ashamed to recognize that I wasn´t so fond of the Chinese culture...but now, because of your movie, I´m feeling interested in everything related to it !
And eventhough the Ancient Egypt was always my favorite "background " I´m starting to think that THIS Mummy it´s gonna be even better that the former two...and that´s a lot ! And I mean it.

So, HELLL YEAAAHHHH!!! GO TEAM COHEN !!!! more than ever!
Delilah.

Awww...sorry, it´s me again...I guess I´m having the same "multiple-posts disorder " that our Bro Steven uses to have !( it´s definitely related to "obsessive-compulsive disorders" LOL LOL )
Well, here it is...the link to download the whole package of pics that this nice " forsage" guy have found, from the Czech distributor...
http://www.zshare.net/download/4795732ece6453/
Warning: Soooo heavy...but it´s really worth the trouble
Enjoy it !!

Delilah.

I trend to think this looks like that 80s John Carpenter film BIG TROUBLE ON LITTLE CHINA ¡JUST BIGGER ONE! cuz it take place in REAL China, not in some very popular neighborhood in California, lol

Congratulations of your new children .
Have the Chinese martial art actor Wu Jing started filming his fight against Jet?

Or, has it been filmed already?

It was said he will a cameo in the film.

Oooopppsss...I just saw that Jane has uploaded those pics on her wonderful MY´s site...so, forget about the heavy-whole-package download !! LOL

Delilah

Hi Mr Cohen, so happy to hear you have Chinese cultural consultants for your film! I am looking forward to it more than ever now.

I realize I forgot to include my source for my previous post, so with apologies here it is again:

"Many chinese emperors were said to be descendants or sons of dragons (lung tik chuan ren - a name, by the way, which many chinese claim for themselves). Since the period of Manchu many things used by the emperors are associated with dragons: the dragon-throne, the dragon-gown, dragon-boats and -beds... there where times that it was believed that the emperor would be able to materialize as a dragon, or that the emperor was able to rule over the dragons."

Source is for this quote is here: http://www.kondor.de/shaman/orient1_e.html

Another good source here: http://www.theserenedragon.net/Tales/china-general.html

A Chinese emperor, as a descendant of Chinese dragons, would not have to be cursed to become a shape-shifter. He would have the ability to turn into a dragon, or any other creature he wished, due to his royal bloodline. Dragons in Chinese lore were shape-shifters, and could also control the weather. It'd be pretty neat to see your movie use some of China's authentic mythology.

Delilah,
Sorry to go off topic but what is Jane's MYs site? Please explain.

Oh forgive me, Maz, I´m sorry if I was not clear...And your question is not off topic, I think...it is Michelle Yeoh´s site...I guess Jane is the webmistress...We have the link right here, on Rob´s... " Michelle Yeoh Web Theatre"
Anyway Maz, this link
http://www.michelleyeoh.info/Movie/mummy3.html

will take you right to the page where those wonderful pics are posted...
( Take a deep breath girl...and look at THAT HUNK ...OMG!!!!)

Delilah.

Oh, my word! Triplets? You are blessed, Mr. Cohen =0 My mom would love twins or triplets. I'm the oldest of a family of eight children, but none of us are a twin, unfortunately.

And thank you for updating, once again :] I get all excited when a new update is posted. I love to read about the progress!

HECKYEAH. GO TEAM COHEN!
(because I don't curse ;)

JET LI SHOULD NOT ACCEPT THE ROLE, SO LITTLE SCREEN TIME AND DAMAGING HIS IMAGE, HOW STUPID CAN HE BE?????

JET LI SHOULD NOT ACCEPT THE ROLE, SO LITTLE SCREEN TIME AND DAMAGING HIS IMAGE, HOW STUPID CAN HE BE?????

Triplets, I cant even begin to imagine! What joy!!! Two boys and a girl, I bet your mind is just swirling with all the name possibilites! What happy news!!

Seems like your life, both work and personally, is at its highest Mr. Cohen, congratulations!

And this film, my lord, it has all of our minds spinning. I could seriously visualize that whole seen....and Jonathan's face as the rocket blew away, LOL. This will be amazing, I can't wait any longer!!!

Thanks soo soo much for keeping us all involved in the process, you have no idea what it means to us!!!

Delilah, ooooohhhh, I see what you mean.....thanks for the info.
FFF, If you really like Jet Li why don't you trust his decisions? I think he knows better than you do. He will have done a professional job (as usual) and his presence will have enhanced the action in this movie. I doubt very much that this film, or his performance in it, will damage his image....and where do you get off calling him stupid?! I doubt that he would appreciate that very much.
Elisha, You are so right! We all would prefer that Rob concentrated on directing the film and are all prepared to patiently wait for him to have time to do an update.
Erica, All power to your curse free elbow girl.

Mr Cohen, great news about the triplets, you'll have your hands full i tell ya but i can see from your excitement you'll love every minute. As for the gap in the posts, don't worry about it, we all get lost in time and making a film, i suspect time is of the essence. As a fan and a user of this site i think i can say that we understand this even though it gets us all excited to see a new post..To put it another way which would we rather have..posts every day or the film being made to the best of the directors abilty? i know which i'd want, lol.
Every post you make is exciting and this one is even better..the action in this film sounds a dream and it sounds like john hannah is having a ball with his character, always makes me laugh.
Just one more thing..will you still keep this site going through post-production?

Take care

Elisha

A picture of Michelle and Russell Wong together please, Rob. Thanks for updating us! :-)

So Jet Li lost his fight to Brendan Fraser, Michelle Yeoh and Russell Wong and everyone else; lost his love to Michelle Yeoh and Rusell Wong, how sad can his character be? Jet Li is a national hero in China since fetus and now he is a national enemy. So he lost his fighting icon image, lost his national hero image , and lost his love interest, for what? Curse of the Dragon? More like Curse of Jet Li.

So Jet Li lost his fight to Brendan Fraser, Michelle Yeoh and Russell Wong and everyone else; lost his love to Michelle Yeoh and Rusell Wong, how sad can his character be? Jet Li is a national hero in China since fetus and now he is a national enemy due to your film. So he lost his fighting screen icon image, lost his national hero image , and lost his love interest, for what? Curse of the Dragon? More like Curse of Jet Li.

Jet Li is the best known martial arts artist working today. I've seen on Chinese discussion boards a lot of Jet Li's fans are upset about him being in Mummy 3 especially the fact he will be defeated by "white guys". At one point rumors said he will be killed by Michelle Yeoh's character and some Li's fans were bit relieved "at least it will be Chinese who kills him". (Yeoh is Malaysian but majority of Chinese still consider her as Chinese/Hong Kong actress) But this is a Hollywood production. They won't let Yeoh be the final hero will they. White people will be the one finish off Jet Li and save the world.

Why are you superimposing those different things like the "person" ( the real human being), the "actor" and the "role" he is playing ?? Jet Li is an actor...so, very plausibly, he will have to play sometimes " the hero", sometimes " the villain". It doesn´t mean that he ( the person) is either a hero or a villain. His "character " ( not him,not Jet Li the " person" ) will lose sometimes or win sometimes !!. I mean, I´m really a die-hard Brendan Fraser´s fan...but I don´t feel hurt or disappointed when he plays the role of a " loser" or a guy who´s not a " good" guy ( and he did it, believe me! ).Jet Li is in the cast of a BIG movie, that will surely succeed,BIG TIME, and he will be an important piece of that success!!. So, where is that supposed "curse of Jet Li" coming from ? And you FFF, how do you know that he will have so little time on screen ?? And BTW even if he had a short screen time, his participation could be soooo stunning as to become stelar. Damaging his image? I don´t think so.Many people who don´t know so much about his previous work, is getting in touch with him, because of this movie.

HELLLLLLL YEEEAAAHHHH!!!GO TEAM COHEN !!!

( Erica, sorry, I don´t wanna upset you... but I DO curse ! LOL LOL)
( Elisha, I agree with you and Maz...we all prefer Rob concentrating in the making of this fabulous movie...We will wait patiently-but eagerly- for his updates )
(Nef, it´s so good to see how you are really enthusiastic about this movie now. I know that you were a little worried before. BTW, your website is wonderful )

Delilah.

( uhhh...BTW girls...is anybody listen this? Cuz I wanna alert you again: TAIB trailer is on line !!!ASTONISHING !! THANKS my darling friend KL...you were the one who alerted me about this !)

Chinese peeps are indifferent to Yeoh she is okay just that, and no one cares about Rusell wong, Chinese peeps are excited because Jet is in the movie but then everyone gets upset because his character enslaves the Chinese peep. it is like watching their national hero enslaving his own peeps and then got defeated by Yeoh and Wong they hardly care about. hollywood seldom cares about others culture feeling, but I just want to tell you what exactly in Chinese peeps minds

You know what's the feeling, it is like watching your national football team and favorite national football star who is considered a national hero being assraped and defeated.

That's fine by me, Delilah. lol.

And why does it matter who defeats Jet Li? For goodness sakes, people. I could honestly care less .. but then I suppose that's just me. It's going to be a great movie.

HECKYEAH. GO TEAM COHEN!

Triplets? Robbie, yee God, man. Congratulations. That is astounding. A baby for each Mummy film. It is good to hear from you. I love all the script info you dropped in there. Very cool of you. And, Vic Armstrong rocks. I can't wait to see what you guys have in store for us. Stay rested, and stay alert. Keep making great moments.

Cheers,
Ryan

Warmest congratulations to Rob, Barbara and Kyle for the triplets on the way!! Three times the happiness and joy...How blessed you must feel! I wish all the very best to all of you!!

Kyle, so sweet of you to come and chat with us, too--thank you so much for your kind remarks--they are deeply appreciated!!

Rob, thanks a million for the update--just wonderful!! You once again brought the set vividly to life in our mind's eye. And I really admire your attitude towards learning about the Chinese culture, considering this not just a movie shoot, but a way to expand your knowledge of the world. Kudos to you for that. And like others have said, your first priority is to the film you're working so hard on...so I completely understand the time between posts...we're happy and grateful for ANY time you can spare for us!!

Dearest Delilah, you're sooo welcome about the TAIB trailer alert!! It looks fabulous, doesn't it? I cannot wait to see this. Girls, (and guys, too!) check it out... ;) Two BF trailers in one week...can you believe our luck?

And THANKS right back to you, Sweetie, for leading me (and everybody here!) to the wonderful TM3 pics on Michelle Yeoh's site!! Love 'em all, especially the Brendan-in-Tuxedo one...FAINT...

And Delilah, I loved and totally agree with your response to those criticizing Jet Li's presence in TM3. Very eloquently stated--you hit the nail on the head. Strange to have some people confusing Jet Li with the character that he plays, and putting the weight of a entire nation's honor on Jet Li's and the movie's shoulders. Totally unfair, IMHO.

Well, anyway...this is a great day...new post from Rob, new pics, new BF trailer...my day is complete!! ;)

See ya later, dear Mummy family!!

KL

It looks like you can't please everyone all the time, doesn't it? As Delilah so rightly said, Jet Li is an actor and a superb martial artist. While I can see that he is held in high regard in China, I also agree that he should be allowed to stretch himself and play a villian, who gets defeated. Let's get real here....no martial artist wins every fight. Why do people take entertainment so seriously? It's not real...it's just a movie.
Jet Li the actor lives to fight again!!!!!

i have some interesting issue to discuss and its something from wath i became worried and its this film`s pacing, i mean when i heard there will be some drama in this movie i became insecure abouth how the narrative would be, this is mostly a "boy`s own adventure",isnt?, well i would love this film if it still in the tradition of the first two, you know; fast paced action and comical every time, i mean, well, let me tell you as an example that i checked last time on mi DVD Peter Jackson`s KING KONG and i thought "man!! how i liked this on theaters when it was released?" its freaking boooring, its almost watching some soap opera, i agree with using some drama to give it realism and humanity to the characters, ok, but i just wanted a pure fun adventure movie, just that. Due that stunt coordinator is Vic armstrong and knowing the previous body of work of mr. Cohen i have some hope that i can expect something more in the tradition of pulp serial matinee than a very exhausting over long type of soap opera. i share this with all of you cuz some recent features such as the two last Pirates of the Caribbean (specially the third one) they drags the story with over long sized scenes, forgetable dialogues and i didnt feel really thrilled just bored as hell.

See you.

Do you remember how well Jet Li interpreted the villain in LETHAL WEAPON 4? and altought his martial arts skills he was defeated by Mel Gibson and Danny Glover`s characters, so i didnt was complained that the villain, much younger and strong and a very deadly "kung fu`s machine" is beaten by two middle aged guys as the heros of the film, so, do you?

You know, if you respect and admire Jet Li as much as you CLAIM you do, then you should trust his judgment and career choices. Or is his persona just a fantasy to you? Do you think someone is holding a gun to his head?

If you are all Jet Li fans, then think of it this way: if you went out to dinner with Jet, would he like you for being loyal, or would he think you're a douche for criticizing his movies?

We totally agree with you, Indy vs. Rick. BELIEVE ME, there will be no resemblance to the King Kong melodrama or the Pirates' coma-inducing length.

But without a touch of humanity, it's easy to just tune out, and the film becomes just a bunch of mindless explosions. Part of what made early pulp adventures great is that you were rooting for the Hero, who you've gotten to know and love.

This will definitely NOT be a pretentious film, trying to "reshape" the action-adventure genre by pandoring to a bunch of snotty elitist critics.

Friday I saw the "Sizzle reel" which is basically a teaser for the studio to drool over. Even without all the visual efects, it looked BREATHTAKING. It actually gave me chills.

Peace

GO TEAM COHEN

PS. baby name ideas?

OMG Kyle...so, are WE gonna see a teaser pretty soon ???!!!I´m so sure it´s gonna be breathtaking ! OOhhh... " to drool over"...hmmm...if Mr. Fraser is involved...I´m ALWAYS ready to drool over ! LOL LOL LOL ( sorry, that was one of my usual chick comments !.It´s in my nature LOL )

HELLLL YEEEAAAHHHH !!! GO TEAM COHEN !!

Good Morning Mummy family! (at least it is here where I am - NYC) Thanks Delilah, Maz for the link to the new pictures. I check that site frequently (but apparently not frequently enough) and when I saw those new pics - OMG WOW! Luke Ford really looks like a good fit in the role of Alex and I really am excited about seeing him in this film. As for Brendan/O' Connell - no words to explain how cool & amazing he is! The coat he wears in the Himalayan scenes I really love. And the others pictures are just exciting to see as well. Thanks again.

Peace n' Love :) Steven :)

I would prefer rent any day CAPTAIN BLOOD or THE CRIMSON PIRATES on the nearest video store than watching "Pirates of coma inducing",lol.

Aww damn, so you already filmed in Shanghai?! Damn, still missed it. Oh well.
guess I have to wait for the trailer to get a glimps..

Wow you're getting three kids?? Impressive! or as the Chinese would say: gongxi gongxi! My best wishes and good luck to you and your wife!

Hope to see the trailer soon! Keep up the good work!

Greets Peggy

Rob, you need to post a pic of John Hannah as Jonathan. Thats the only main character pic we haven't seen.

The film looks kick ass, I can't wait for the trailer, and August 1, 2008.

Barbara, take your rest you must be huge right now ,i know i was ha,ha....

greetings and a hug !,
Namaste X Anita

What a perfect weekend! Seeing the trolley blow sky-high on Friday was incredible. Wait till you see it- Bruce, Rick, and the rest of the SFX guys pulled off one hell of a shot. Bruce was my boss over the summer, and a more knowledgable, compassionate, zen guy has not yet been born.

Saturday meeting Michelle Yeoh for the first time was a real treat. She's such a kind, intelligent (not to mention stunningly, jaw-dropping-ly, outstandingly beautiful) woman. She is so engaging and sincere that you forget what a star she is.

Today was equally wonderful. My father, girlfriend and I had a great day in Shanghai eating dim sum, poking our noses into boutiques (ahh, retail therapy), and drinking tea. Dad had a great meeting with Vic Armstrong, who is moving his action unit to a new location tomorrow. We also got to listen to the original song written by Rob and composed by Randy called "Infernal Love." It's a beautiful and complex love song, and I'm sure you'll enjoy.

I've always said having a director for a dad is not dissimilar from having a parent in the military (granted, fewer REAL bullets). It's a 7-day per week, 18-hour per day job, and it often takes you away from your family. It is easy to let it consume your life, because it is such a struggle to keep a film of this magnitude together. Today we speculated that 100,000 people will in one way or another have made money from M3.

But Rob has always made sure to spend as much time with Barbara and I as humanly possible, and works extra hard to make up for carefree Sundays like today. Dad, I am so greatful.

We're going out to set tomorrow after class, and I'll be sure to divulge as much as I can without getting in trouble ;) (*you didn't hear it from me, but John Hannah's lines during the upcoming chase sequence are hi-LAR-ious).

Well my future sister is named "Jasi" after our seaside village in Bali, and (one) brother is going to be named "Sean." That leaves one more boy, and we can't think of anything that sounds right (I suggested "Amadeus" but Barbara wouldn't hear of it).

Peace to you all,
K

PS Indy v. Rick-"Captain Blood" is SO good. Ya like the old Harryhausen movies (Jason and the Argonauts, Sinbad, etc.)?

PPS Delilah, honey I would show you the sizzle reel in a second if you were here in Shanghai. Unfortunately there are a wires that need to be painted out, green backgrounds that need to be replaced, and epic mythological creatures that need to be brought to life before you'll see anything in theatres. But trust me, even with NO visual effects the movie would hold its own, which is something of a rarity these days.

PPPS I'll get on the John Hannah pic.

Anita, that is so sweet of you! I'll ask dad about a good address tomorrow.

Hi Kyle, do you have any photo(s) of you and Michelle that you don't mind sharing with us? ;-)

www.michelleyeoh.info

Hello my beloved Mummy family !
(eerr...Is ist just me or we have lost contact with David and the Captain ?? David what´s up, Hon? Did that obnoxious " Spy-School" send you in a secret mission ? Are you needing a " Mummy-family-rescue" Bro?Just say it...and we´ll go.
And you Cloudy, I told you " be careful with that peace -pipe" didn´t I ?? Ummm..maybe Maz can prepare some miraculous brew to " clean up" your clouded mind, Sir !LOL LOL
Hi, KL, sweetie...IT¨S SO NICE TO SEE YOU HERE AGAIN !!

Ohhh darn, no, Kyle, I´m not in Shangai...I´m kinda far away, just a little, you know, just about 12200 miles :( ( I´m in Buenos Aires)But anyway, thank you boy! You are as nice and articulate as your father ! Now, that I know that being such a busy man Rob tries to spend time with his family, well, I admire him even more!.
Kyle, Honey, thank you for sharing these adorable tidbits of the movie...and relax, sweetie...we´ll never say that we´ve heard that from you ;) You are a member of the "Mummy Family",you are our Bro.now, and we defend each other, always !!... even against our parents!! LOL LOL LOL

HELLL YEAAAHHH !!!GO TEAM COHEN!!

PS:Oh please Kyle...Amadeus??? why not Ludwig ? LOL LOL...Now, seriously: what about "Aidan" ? I think it goes right along with Sean. ( Sean & Aidan...sounds nice !!. BTW "Jasi" sounds so sweet !)

Delilah

Hey Kyle. What's happenning? This film is really going to be great and I do look forward to seeing John Hannah reprise his role of Johnathan. He was hilarious in the first two and I have no doubt about this 3rd film.

Just one question though and I do feel it's on behalf of all of us in The Mummy Family. Do you have an idea as to when the teaser trailer will be shown? Anytime soon hopefully? Thank you. and Thanks for all of these updates you've been treating us with.

Best of wishes to your family, cast, & crew! :)

Or wouldn't it just be cool if we were given a look at the sizzle reel as well!?! Okay, I won't get too pushy. lol peace family! :)

Robbie,

I was watching 'The Mummy Returns' last night, and it occurred to me that Oded Fehr is not in this one, and I get it. It doesn't fit into the whole Chinese story line, but if there is opening narration, could you please have Mr. Fehr do it. His character is a 'Mummy' staple, and even if 'Ardeth Bay' is not in the film, consider him doing the VO. Thanks for listening, pal. I know you can accomodate everybody, but you still rock. Keep on truckin'.

Ryan

Congratulations Rob! So with two girls and a boy coming, paternal triplets! Dang! Well, good luck to the wife in delivery!

As for me, I think it is going to be a great movie! There are two movies I'm looking forward to: Mummy 3 and Indy 4 (well, more than that: True North and Babylon AD too). Indy 4 principal photography was completed last month. Two great action movies! WOOHOO! Can hardly wait!

(Disclaimer: For all you kids that I was told come in here and read our comments, This post is rated PG-13. Drugs and alcohol are BAD Mmmm'kay!! Don't Curse Either Damnit!! LOL. )

Andddd I'M BACK, like a bat outta hell Mummy Fam!! My weekend was friggin' insane people!! I've been to four parties, gotten extremely smashed, and even gotten into a little altercation with the local authorities. Charges are still pending. LOL. But lemme digress and get to this lovely new blog we have. Thanx for the updates ROB!! Congrats on the Triplets and also congratulations on being damn near finished with principal photography. Everything I've seen so far has been motherf***in' EXCELLENT!! It seems just about everyone here wants to see the "sizzle reel" Kyle's been talking about, but I think I'll just be patient and wait for the trailer to appear durig the Superbowl. *wink wink* Now onto the baby names thang. Kyle, Sean and Jasi are gonna be awesome names!! For the third name though, I'm gonna suggest the name.... Seth. I've always liked that name for some reason and it kinda goes with Sean. I do like Aidan too though Delilah. Rob, just don't take the Robert Rodriguez route and name you kids Rocket, Racer, and Rebel. LOL.

Well I guess that about does it for this post, I don't wanna go on for too long. Let conclude by once again saying THANK YOU to Rob for starting this site, You ROCK DUDE!! Also THANK YOU to Kyle for blessing us with his presence!! And finally, THANK YOU to all my other TM3 family members for just being here. All you guys make logging onto the internet that much more worth it. Aight, I'm gone for now!! Adios!!

HELLLL YEAHHH!! GOETH TEAM COHEN!!

I just wanted to add to what the rest of the Mummy family have already said.
Thank you Kyle for taking the time to post here and give us such personal information. You make us feel like we know your family. It shows trust in us.
John Hannah was hilarious in the last two movies so we're not suprised that he will be in this one. We won't let on that you were the one who told us though.
You still haven't said how you fared in your exam though.
Please wish your Dad and Barbara well for me. I bet Barbara is starting to feel tired now. Triplets are lovely but they sure are heavy to carry around until they are born.
Well it is past my bedtime so night night Mummy family. Will check in again tomorrow.
P.S. Cloudy it sounds like I need to take the whip out to you, misbehaving again.

Kyle,
Thank you for your response.
I really would appreciate a good adress where i could send the art to.
Also "family "thank you for the loony (ha,ha ) comments, great to read !!I wish you all much pleasure at the premiere in your country of mummy 3 !Rob,Barbara,Kyle cast and crew...THANKS A MILLION !!XXXX

HUGS & NAMASTE
Anita

KL, i think Universal should release a teaser to tease(obviously, lol) people`s expectation and show it on youtube just like Stallone did for his new "Rambo" movie and i assure you it will became a success.

Quick update. Went to set again tonight, and it was spectacular. I've been on a LOT of sets, and this one is just incredible. You're gonna love it. Sonya did a stunning job on the extras' wardrobe, and everyone looks classy and very memorable. Katherine and I need to go in so that she can dress us for our cameo next week!

John Hannah arrived tonight, and Brendon picked him up to give him a 30-second bearhug. Everyone was in very high spirits, which is unusual on the first night of a week-long night shoot. I'm going to sleep now, but they'll be up until 7 this morning.

You guys are the best. Sleep well, and dream of a $300,000,000 gross ;)

Peace,
K

Jasin Boland is the man. Again, Jasin, you are the best in the business and a wonderful friend.

Thanks, Kyle, for the update. Great to hear John Hannah is on site. I love his character and am so glad Brendon and John are great friends in real life. And you get to do a cameo too! Fabulous! The sets sound amazing and from what we have seen in photos so far, we know we are not going to be disappointed. Give John and Brendan our regards. We love them both. $300,000,000 gross minimum!
Hi other Family members. Captain, I'm wearing my jet pack out already. Just can't sleep at night in anticipation of this film so have been flying through the wee small hours.LOL. Maz and Delilah, I totally agree. Jet Li is phenomenal and I'm sure very much wants to be in this movie. His contribution is vital. Racism is wrong - always.
Suzie

Oh Kyle, Can I come in for a cameo so Brendan can give me a bearhug?.....pleeeeaaassseee!!!!!!!
John Hannah is lovely. He brings a lot of charm to the film. I'm jealous though...I WANT A THIRTY SECOND BEAR HUG!!!!!

Robbie and Kyle,

I'm starting to address these things to you, Kyle, also because it seems you're on here more than your dad is. Actually, to all the Mummy community, how the hell are you all? Here in New York it is starting to cool down and seasonal affective disorder is starting to settle in. Kyle, I don't think you've answered this question on the boards, but have you seen both of the prior Mummy films, and what do you think of them? Is Stephen Sommers a cool guy? I'm getting the feeling that next summer we will see a sequel that we won't be disappointed with. I love the feeling that Team Cohen and all of the Mummy community is putting out there. I'm psyched, and I think this film will deliver is strides. Kyle, thanks for keeping up the morale on here. You and your dad should be very proud. I hope Robbie gives you a good credit at the end of this film. Cheers.

Ryan

To the community, it's been said before, but I will say it again, Go Team Cohen.

P.S. I love Indiana Jones, too, and I don't get to share that love in a place like this. I can't wait for Indy 4, either!

Rock on, team.

Wooowww Kyle...that sounds just amazing !(suzie, I agree: $ 300,000,000 gross minimum !! ) I think I will join you and Katherine, Kyle...I´D LOVE TO SEE THAT WARDROBE !!! DARRRNNNN I CAN´T WAIT TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!
Well, about that "bearhug" ...mmmmNo, thank you...I don´t like it...hmmm...it wouldn´t be appropiate ( Maz, and specially you my Sis KL, for goodness sake, you two... stop laughing at me ladies !!!...why the hell don´t you believe in my words ?? LOL LOL... OK OK, maybe I would accept a 15-seconds bearhug...LOL LOL)

Now I´m gonna talk to you Indiana vs.Rick:
First off: that improbable battle would have just ONE possible winner: MY Rick O´Connell ( wowww, wowww, Girls...I know it, he is not " only" mine...but I love the way it sounds, " my" Rick O´Connell *Big Sigh* LOL LOL )
Ohh anyway, " Indy vs The God" ( ooppsss...sorry...I mean "... vs. Rick " LOL LOL )I guess that you are talking to Kyle , calling him " KL"...am I right ? Well, I don´t know if you noticed that, but we have another blooger here ( who is a beloved friend of mine, BTW) whose nick is precisely " KL" ( hi, sweetie!! ). So, I don´t wanna be " nosy"...but I think it would be better if you don´t call Kyle " KL", cuz it´s kinda confusing...Just an opinion. Didn´t mean to bother you ! Sorry if I did.
( eerr....just one more thing: Rick is cooler, tougher and handsomer...LOL LOL LOL )

HELLL YEEAAHHHH !!! GO TEAM COHEN !!
Delilah.
PS: and where the heck is David ?? anybody knows ??? David sweetie, I hope you are OK !

Where is David? Where is David?

Hey Mummy Family? How is everyone?

Thanks again, Kyle, for the quick update. I'd love to see footage of the "30 sec. bearhug"! But I could just imagine it. haha.

Delilah, you little fibber. May your nose grow like pinnochio's.
Of course you'd love a bearhug. ...but I expect you would be unconscious for the last fifteen seconds of it, having fainted clear away!!!
Yes, David where are you? Have you gone off in the dirigible again?

Oh Delilah, you have to keep yourself under control. You can't miss a bearhug. It's criminal. I mean the poor guy would be putting in all that effort and you'd sleep through it all!!!! By the way....this doesn't constitute going off topic does it?

yikes, I seem to have gone back in time!!!! Can someone shut down that dratted time machine please!!!???!!!

Aaaahhhh Maz, you got me !... you are starting to know me pretty well, indeed!! But I have to say that you are overrating my ability to bounce back, if you think that I would be unconscious JUST for the last fifteen seconds of it... LOL LOL LOL !!

Delilah

PS:arrgghh...BTW.." Indy vs.Hunk" (ooppss...LOL) with that typo " blooger"...I was meaning " bloGGer", of course !SIGH...sorry, it was just another one of my multiple "blunders and typos" -BLUSH!!!-

HAHAHA!! Delilah Sweetie, you had me in stitches for a minute there, girl!! Like you would refuse that bearhug... ;) No more than I would!! LOL LOL! Glad you 'fessed up, my Sis!! ;)

Yeah, save me a place in line for that...SIGH...but like you said, Maz, I'd probably lose consciousness halfway through. ;) Oh well...

Seriously, that's adorable...Brendan picking up John Hannah for a bearhug. Too cute. What a sweetie (and what a strong guy!!) Thanks for sharing that little tidbit, Kyle. Glad to hear everyone is in such great spirits on the set. (How could they not be?)Thanks for ALL the awesome updates about the set, and about your family!

BTW, Jasi and Sean are great names...Amadeus is cool, too!! Reminds me of another awesome film!! But I guess it's a little quirky too, so I can see Barbara's point! LOL! Back to the drawing board...(it's fun to pick out THREE names, not just one, isn't it?)

Hey, I'm looking forward to that $300,000,000 gross minimum!! WHOOO-HOOO!!

Take care, family!!

GO TEAM COHEN!!!!!

KL

No worries Rob,

Two boys and a girl? Are you guys expecting three babies at the same time?

...
I hope that the fireworks scene has a special behind the scenes featurette when it comes out on DVD!!!! Because by the way you describe it, it SOUNDS MARVELLOUS!!!!

Interesting that of some people standing to the right of the Emperor, and others to his left. I didn't know that.

And once again Rob, thank you for taking the time to have this blog/website; thank you for sharing with us all the different experiences you are having making this film.

Delilah, dear, mr. fraser is a good actor and very charming, specially for girls like you but Harrison is the epitome of a true manly guy and thats why he gave live to one of the most legendary icons of adventure genre, such bravado from the epitome of a great action hero that we still like to imitate, i dont care if you dont find him "atractive" or "gorgeus" (in fact a lot of much younger women find him very handsome) in fact mr. Ford will demonstrate he is strong as in his younger days, many guys would like to be in such fit at that age not to mention that are talking abouth one of the most anticipated sequels from a great film series from (oh,my God!!) Steven "freaking" Spielberg, does that name "rings a bell" to you??? its mean something CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND,ET or even SAVING PRIVATE RYAN??? Gosh!! these nowadays kids...

not slating your dad as a capable director, KL, but we are talking abouth such mithycal director, in fact, he is responsible why i was scared to hell to enter in a tub when i was a little one(JAWS),LOL.

Wow, so many surprises! Triplets! Re-union with your son! TM3 updates!Congratulations to you Rob and Babara and Kyle! And, Your family is just Sooooooooooooooooooo GREAT!

I am just back from the filming of a Japanese movie called Bang. I acted as a receptionist for an international ballet competition held in Shanghai. The Japanese team was so surprised to know that i could speak Japanese, so they changed the short dialogue between me and the main character-the Japanese ballet dancer from English to Japanese. This is my 2nd time in a movie and is my 1st time to speak in a movie and for the 1st time my face was shot very clear. In my 1st movie Lust Caution, I just walked on Nanjing Rd. I went to the cinema to see the movie and I was very happy when I saw myself in it even though only my side could be seen. Movies are FANTASTIC!

Another surprise for me was that I was selected with the other 2 Chinese girl and 1 white girl to join the filming in the Egyptian-themed nightclub in your TM3! We went to fit the costumes on Nov. 3rd. The costumes are VERY BEAUTIFUL! Sanja and your costume staff are VERY NICE!
SEE YOU SoooooooooooooN!

Sorry, the name for the Japanese movie is not Bang. Its Chinese name is Ang and Japanese name is Subaru.

OK - that's it. I'm going to train to be an actress like Yina, and be in M4!LOL. Maybe I will get a Brendan bear hug too!
Go Team Cohen!
Suzie

Maz, you're the best. I'm well over 6 feet, and my girlfriend is small like you, so I hope she feels the same way ;)

Going to set again, so I'll let you know about anything cool tomorrow. I'll be taking the train to Beijing for 4 days, so no updates from me until I get back, but I'll try to get the big guy to write some more.

Indy v. Rick- no one is disputing that Steven just sweats talent. The man lives and breathes film. If he had only done "Schindler's List" in his entire life, he would still be a genius. However, I think that everything we're doing here well outstages the "no time for love, doctah Jones" scenes of our youth.

Also on a more personal note, we found out that it's actually TWO girls and ONE boy. The girls are "Jasi" and "Zoe" and the boy is "Sean."

Thanks for your posts, glad to be a part of the fam.

Cheers,
K

Also, if any of y'all are on Facebook, my full name is Kyle Cashulin. (not Cohen. Long story-but the triplets will have last name Cashulin as well...)

Suzie, We could train together sister.
Yina, I'm quite jealous......well very jealous actually!!!!!!
KL and Delilah are you two gonna train as actresses too? Cloudy, Steven and David could be our agents. They could get us parts only in Brendan's films. KL and Delilah you could take relaxation classes so you wouldn't faint in his presence.
It does sound like the cast have a lot of fun together. We all know they work long and unsociable hours so they have to have a good working relationship to make the job bearable. I could stand a job where I got to see the big guy every day. He wouldn't even have to speak to me and I'd still be happy.

Suzie, I forgot to say that I've had the experience of being picked up off my feet and bearhugged by guys of Brendan's size and strength and it's a very pleasant experience. Trust me, you wouldn't want to miss a second of it. I'm not even five feet tall so tall guys tend to bahave in a very protective manner towards me and I really enjoy the feeling when they tower over me and exude protectiveness. Watch how Brendan behaved towards the Vietnamese actress (whose name I can't remember) in The Quiet American and you'll see what I mean. For that that reason I tend to like tall guys. I never feel intimidated, although other people assume that I would.
So, don't you go and faint girl. You'll miss out on the enjoyment of it!

congratulations for your new bros and sister,Kyle, i think you also, in some way you are his "dad" too for being much older than them and i think you will care them as your dad did with you.

sorry mi lapsus,i mean your sisters and bro.

Hi Maz! I loved The Quiet American! Brendan was phenominal. I'm 5'8" but I know what you mean. It doesn't get any better when a strong man wraps you up in his arms. Now look what you've done- gone all dreamy now!LOL. Now I have to go and work.LOL.LOL.
Yes, we will become actresses and only appear in Brendan's films. I don't care what role I play - the back end of a horse or anything! Just to be there would be a dream come true!
Suzie

Suzie I wouldn't want to be the back end of a horse but I see what you mean.
I watched The Quiet American yesterday. I've been getting some DVDs and that was one of them. I also got Encino Man, which was really funny (well it appealed to my sense of humour anyway). Brendan looked so young in that....bless.
I used to have a boyfriend in the American Air Force, who had served in Vietnam. He told me that they discovered that the Vietnamese barber on the air base was a Vietcong spy. It freaked everyone out!
I didn't ask him if he had got involved with any of the women. I didn't think it was any of my business, since it was before I knew him. He did tell me that some of the guys on the base had children with local women.
I thought Brendan was well cast in that film since he does speak quietly a lot of the time (in interviews or commentaries over films. You have to turn the volume up to catch what he is saying).
I didn't like seeing him get stabbed though (no more than I liked seeing them hang him in The Mummy, especially when they show the shot where his eyes are rolling up... that distressed me).
Still mustn't go off topic again. I hope work went well today...despite you being "all dreamy".

Kyle, Have you been in that time machine again? I didn't see your post because it was before mine... I wasn't ignoring you.
I'm sure your girlfriend does feel the same as me. When a tall man towers over you the feeling of protectivness seems to flow all over you. They can't help it. It's just natural instinct.
I'll bet you lean down towards small women when you speak to them too. Men always do that with me. I love tall men!
We'll miss you while you're away.

Indiana...I guess I don´t have to tell you, being such a clever person as you are, that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, it´s a matter of taste, and many other cliches like these. I will just say that obviously your " epitome of a true manly guy" is different than mine. That´s it. I will try to ignore that phrase of yours," specially for girls like you "; it sounds very scornful and out of place ( what did you mean BTW ?...maybe that IF I was a better " girl" I would prefer Mr Ford?? )( Oh and FYI, I´m not a " nowaday" kid...I´m a grown up woman...and I still think that Brendan is ABSOLUTELY BETTER than Harrison, as an actor and obviously as a "manly epitome".OK, I´m stoping now. I don´t wanna put Mr Ford down. And I don´t wanna sound like you: scornful and out of place. I´m sure there are a lot of boards related to Indy. You can go there, talking about Mr Ford, and saying that he is better than any other actor. I promise you that I won´t go there to say " No no, why do you like Harrison Ford? Brendan Fraser is better !!"...or... "Not slating Mr Spielberg as a capable director, but, I guess that Whoever is REALLY a mythical director"... OK,
you get my drift. BTW, of course I saw " Saving Private Ryan " ( I love this movie) and " Close Encounters"...But if I would like to talk about those movies, I would go to its boards. I wouldn´t do it on the " Rob Cohen-Mummy 3 " blog.
OK, I´m done with you. This is the end of my rant.

Delilah.

sorry if i was rude, certainly you are in your right to like brendan, did i say something harsh for him, no, did i mistreated you?? sorry if i did it i just wanna put mi point why I like such an actor like Harrison just you has your point abouth fraser, i just dont wanna be unfriendly just i thought you were very young, sorry.

when i mean "girls like you" i just said that "girls like you" nothing mean, you take things too seriously to be just a fan of the man himself.

Ohh Maz and Suzie...yes!! I´ll definitely join you...When does our "acting-training" start? I´m ready...And I´m almost sure that KL will come with us.Wouldn´t you believe it, I went to my shrink yesterday...He told me a few nice tricks to avoid my usual and embarrasing fainting condition ... He said that I should find a way to test my tolerance to HIS nearness...So,since then, I´m hearing with my headphones his incredible voice narrating " Dragon Rider"...Well, maybe it works, cuz I´m still conscious... ( errr...I tried that Audio Book before...but I always fainted, you know. So, I guess ´this is a progress!! LOL LOL )

Hey Kyle...so finally we have 2 girls and one boy...Excellent!. And I love the name " Zoe"! Do you have already any bro/Sis., Kyle? If this is your " debut " wooowww ...it´s gonna be a BIG one, honey !! LOL LOL. As big as the debut that TM3 will surely have !! YEEESSS!!!
We´ll miss you hon. Take Care. And give our regards to all the Cast and crew
and ALL our best wishes to Barbara.

HELLL YEEEAAHHH!!! GO TEAM COHEN !!
Delilah.

we are expecting much more exciting and funny videos from your dad...

Hey y'all! How is everyone? I'll be someone's agent (just think Ari Gould...but nicer! lol)

Thanks again Kyle for the continuous updates. I appreciate it and I know the rest of The Mummy family does as well. :)

I really look forward to seeing more updates, especially something with Johnathon!!!

Peace n'd Love :)

Now Delilah, you need to do deep breathing when you listen to those tapes. Breathe out slowly, then in slowly.... now look at your favourite photo of Brendan (just to test out your inner strength). Now keep breathing and listening and looking at the photo......Are you still with us Delilah....Delilah are you ok?

Delilah are you still conscious? OK now when we do our acting training we have to learn how to do a stage kiss (just in case he needs someone to rehearse with).
Delilah, what are you doing on the floor?

I second that, Indy vs. Rick. It's not something tangible that can be furthered. Indiana Jones is just more iconic. I love Rick O'Connell, too...in very different ways. I want two more movies from each of them. Realistically, that probably won't happen. Kyle, I know your dad isn't even thinking about it yet, but I hope he wants to make one or two more.

And, yes, for the love of Shiva, Robbie, give us some more videos with thrills and laughs.

Cheers,
Ryan

( mmmOK, Doc, yes, I´m fine now, thank you. Yes, the paramedics you sent are really trained in CPR, they were very helpful, indeeed. Uh ? Oh no, no, It wasn´t because a Brendan-material overdose...no. I guess I just...overbreathed a little...you know, this girl Maz,she said something about some task of our acting training, and I just started to hyperventilate, that´s all. No, I don´t know why...it just happened. I think I imagined I was rehearsing some scene... whhoooaaa...No,no,I´m fine Doc, I promise I won´t do it again...Bye)

Oh Maz, Hi... yeah, I´m conscious, again. I was talking to my shrink...the lady next door called him when she saw I was on the floor...Excuse me Sis, what were you saying ??? LOL LOL
Delilah.

Exactly, Ryan we just want that the fun shouldnt be ending but i assure you after INDY 4 and MUMMY 3 we will gonna watch much more into that genre very soon.

BTW some recent treasure hunting-serial type of adventure such as SAHARA and specially that crappy THE RUNDOWN didnt worked very well, even THE GOONIES or ROMANCING THE STONE were far away enjoyable...and i am talking abouth more than 20 years ago.

Delilah, you must get this under control girl. You can't hyperventilate when you become an actress.
You must practice the exercise I gave you three times a day until you become desensitized. It works a bit like physiotherapy...you work up to full control over a period of time, with practice. In a few weeks you'll be able to imagine you are rehearsing that scene, while remaining completely calm.......yeh OK, I'm lying to you....That's impossible!!!!

again, sorry, it was not my intention to provoke some stroke to Delilah...

Oh, that´s a big relief...you know, when I started to read your last post I said to myself " -You can do it DeeDee ( I like to call myself DeeDee... LOL LOL )...just take a deep breath, meanwhile you think of that scene...can you feel that you are becoming desensitized?? -" Well, I have to say, I failed miserably...I started to hyperventilate again and I fainted ( it was briefer this time...) Then when I was conscious again, I read the rest of your post...SIGH...I feel better now that you are recognizing that it´s impossible... HA !!"desensitized", yeah, right !!LOL LOL

Delilah

Maz, it´s kinda obvious, but I´m replying to YOU with my last post. Errr...KL...would you like to try ?? I mean, that " desensitizing" experience ? Come on, try to do it...don´t let your poor Sister-DeeDee making a fool of herself...alone !!!
LOL LOL
Delilah

You think you have problems....it brought on a hot flush when I tried it!!!! Never mind DeeDee, we can all fail miserably together.
I've just been looking at images on the Brendan Fraser Consortium. I'm trying to desensitize myself that way but it's not working at all. Must try breathing exercises next time I look at photos.......Some of them were reeeaaally niceeeee!

hi people
really quick hi sorry i havent been about started a new job been run off my feet ill check in proper real soon i hope hop you are all well cant wait to read the new post aint got time right now talk later everyone

hell yeah go team cohen

peace to all
david c xxx

Oh, Indy please be right. I hate to shake the boat but I love Sahara. You nailed it on the head, it's that serial quality to it, even though the movie is ludicrous. I know saying this will next statement will divide people really quickly, but National Treasure really annoyed me. It is fun, I own the DVD and want to see the sequel, but it is just a bit too easy, you know? I hope Rick and Indy ride off into the sunset, and gallop back into theatres eventually.

And I hope it is Rick that returns, and is not a spin off solely with Alex. I love the character, but it just wouldn't be the same. Same goes for Indy if he has a spawn, too.

On a side note, I enjoy reading Delilah's cathartic posts, and then hearing Maz weigh in on her conduct. This entire blog is endlessly entertaining. Thanks for the fun, guys.

Cheers,
Ry

wath abouth that cheesie, but in a funny way, PERILS OF GWENDOLINE?? here i show you the trailer, its soooo 80s:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=Xk6Q1QSRiLE

and if you want more i leave you THIS one too, lol:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=x2vbP8znESU

Hey girls, definately you should!!! It's amazing to be someone else.

Hi Kyle, I would like to tell you a secret about Shanghai. After you have seen Puxi and Pudong, dont forget to come to see Jiading. Jiading got its name from the Jiading Period of the Song Dynasty and is famous for its Nanxiang Xiaolong(what exactly Shanghai Xiaolong is), Guyi Park(built in the Ming Dynasty)in Nanxiang town, ancient architectures built in 4 Dynasties within 100 meters in Jiading town, the Confucious Temple and ancient parks in Jiading town, Bamboo Art Museum in Jiading town, Liuhe town from where Zheng He departed 7 times for overseas in the ancient time, etc. When the Qing Dynasty replaced the Ming Dynasty, many many Jiading people were killed for 3 days because our ancestors refused to obey the order of shaving hair. Simutanously, Yangzhou people were killed for 10 days. Anting, Huangdu, there are just too many stories to tell about Jiading!!! A lot of greenary, too!

Ryan, it's our pleasure to entertain you.
Yina, all the information you are giving us is very interesting. We know very little about China. Please feel free to educate us while you are posting on this site.

Perils of Gwendoline! I love it. It is kind of a Dr. Jones rip off, but I would've watched it. Some of the prod. design looks iffy, but what the hell. Indy, it reminds me a cartoon I used to watch called 'TaleSpin.' TaleSpin was awesome, and it was based on this show: http://youtube.com/watch?v=YdFN6agkNnQ

My turn to entertain, maz.

P.S. Has anyone seen a great movie from the 1930's called 'Gunga Din?' It's is one of the greatest, and if you have the chance to see it, give it a look.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyoA2tX-S9E

ME!! i loved that one, even it was made almost 70 ears ago its so very modern, i almost cryed when gunga (sam jaffe) gets shot and i didnt thought he gave his life for the british empire but for his friends and cary grant was a great swashbuckling hero and very humorous much more into the line of O`Connel than Indy (he even carryied a bunch of dynamite cartridges to bbeat the villains)

i also remember TALES OF THE GOLD MONKEY with Rev. Camden in it, LOL LOL i watched it every Sunday`s night along with my grandpa and wath abouth BRING ÈM BACK ALIVE with Bruce Boxleitner as Frank Buck?

Now I know what you two (Indy & Ryan) were doing in your misspent youth. I have seen the Gunga Din movie though and liked it.
When I watch stuff on you tube my computer seems to keep jamming. Don't know if it is just me.

Success! Oh, I've shed a tear or two for Sam Jaffe. Cary Grant is very 'Rick O'Connell' for his time. I am a huge Cary Grant buff, and he's hilarious and very swashbuckling.

Stephen Collins rocks in Gold Monkey! I love him in that. I am only twenty years old, but maz, you are 100% correct in calling it a misspent youth. I just hope my misspent youth doesn't become my misspent adulthood. What am I saying? Of course I do!

woowww...sorry, I guess I came to the wrong blog...It seems that this is not our TM3 blog anymore...The Mummy family has disappeared, it seems?? SOB SOB.
I will go to The Indy´s blog...maybe I will find some " Mummy-talking" on there...

Delilah.
( PS...and some people said that WE were" out of topic" when we was talking about the leading man of THIS cast...)

Deep breaths DeeDee. Calm yourself and think of Brendan's soft, lilting voice..... Ohhh no, I've made her faint again!!!!!
Seriously, Did you see David's post? He's OK, just got a new job and hadn't got time to join us....I thought he'd nicked the dirigible and got locked up again.

Delilah, this will be sure "your" MUMMY blog but these chatting shouldnt discourage you, just many of us are (even Kyle), after all, movie buffs and i think part of the fun of liking some movie its comparing and liking wath you saw and wath you would like to see in it, so take it easy,ok?

Ryan do you know where i can get some DVDs from TALES OF THE GOLD MONKEY? its very hard trying to find it even on some cable channels.

Hey Maz, yes honey, I saw David´s post...thanks God that little rascal is OK.
Awww..no, I shouldn´t think of his voice right now...is not suitable...I mean, I have a LOT of work to do...And his voice tends to generate on me such a strange condition I can´t describe...( eerr...Maz, I can describe that condition, of course...I just don´t wanna do it...anyway, I know you perfectly know what I am meaning, don´t you girl ?? LOL
DeeDee

DeeDee, I do understand.....just get your work done and try to forget about the big guy. He'll only wreck your concentration.....but I wonder how the filming is going....however, I won't mention bearhugs. It'll only put you off doing your work!!!!

Delilah ( or DeeDee LOL )

Yea David, F*ck That Job!! Steer Clear of the Bad Karma Dude!!

David,
No job is worth crying over. Leave now and get another job, where you feel happy. It's a third of your day spent there so you need to be enjoying your work.
I hope to hear you are feeling happier really soon. Lots of love. Maz xxx

Hi Maz, i would like to tell u more about China but it's Mr. Cohen's mummy blog here, so the topic should be the Mummy:)

Ohhh yeessss Captain ! I wanna have fun again ( actually Maz and I had a pretty funny conversation yesterday...you know, I had some hyperventilation problems and Maz tried to help me...we both failed miserably LOL LOL ) Well, then I came and see that they were talking about many other movies-not TM3 precisely- I said " wooww this is not our blog anymore " ...and I was severely scolded LOL LOL LOL ( well, not that severely LOL ) So, Cap. I think you should reunite the Mummy warriors again...I miss like crazy our delusional posts, Family !! LOL
So, here´s my battle cry...
HELLL YEAAAHHHHH!!!GO TEAM COHEN !!
Delilah.

PS: David dear, let us know how you are doing !! We love you Bro !!

Awwww...everything seems to be right...we are traveling in time again !! So, as usual, my reply to your post Captain Cloudy, is now posted above the post I was replying...And probably this second post it´s going to be placed above your post, too...oohhh...it´s good being at home again !! LOL LOL LOL
DeeDee.

Well said Yina!! Let's keep it Mummy related, for the most part anyway. LOL. I mean, what happened to our battle cry people. And what's happening to our imaginitive and interesting posts. I wanna have fun again. :(

Dare I say...
HELLLL YEAAAA GO TEAM COHEN!!

OK OK. I'm strapping the ol' jet pack back on, and my suit is upgraded and ready. It's time to get delusional!!LOL!! Maz and Suzie, I need you two ladies back on sentry duty ASAP. We're rebuilding base camp and we're gonna need supplies (Get as much vodka as you can carry!! LOL.). Dee Dee (that's so cute. awwww.), I hope you've still got your suit because we have a new mission... We're going to save David from his J-O-B!! I have his location on my new arm gauntlet radar but the signal is fading fast. WE MUST HURRY!! Meet me at base camp immediately Double-D... I think David may be working for a TROLL!! I'm gonna give the dirigible a tune up while I'm waiting for you, so just stop by my tent when you're ready. Oh, and can someone tell me where the hell Bella the Bellydancer is!! I need to have a little pre-mission "talk" with her. LOL. She better not be with Steven!! That would suck bro. Anyways, I'm off to work on the dirigible.
(LOL, Yep I still got it. I'm having fun again.)

HELLL YEAAA!!! GO TEAM COHEN!!

Hey gang,

David, no job is worth losing your hair over. I think everyone on here will tell you that. Don't buy into that stuff about if you do stick it out, that you will be a better person for it. Wouldn't you rather be better rested and appreciated than exhausted and underpaid? Do what your gut tells you and don't let your head get in the way.

Dee, you are right. We have been straying from Mummy talk recently, but once we get that sizzle reel, I'm sure we will have loads to talk about. I don't think it is a problem that we talk about other movies. They are all connected loosely by genre and feel. But, if we stray, kick in a general question for everyone about Mummyness. I'll do one: Of the two films--or three if you count Scorpion King(I've never seen it)--what is your quintessential Mummy moment from the films? Mine is when they just escape from the museum in 'Returns' and Jonathan pulls up in the double-decker and you hear the great score in the background, and then the game is afoot and that chase moves. I love that sequence. Probably mostly because of Silvestri's music. Anyone else?

Indy, I just did a Google search and discovered that Universal plans to release Gold Monkey next year, amazingly. Talk about timing. Here is the link: http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Tales-Gold-Monkey-Rumors/8315 Serendipity perhaps?

Ry

Oh, wow, and what an update it is! As a newbie (second-time poster and all) it's like Christmas!

Ok Captain Cloudy, I've donned my suit, thermal drawers and vest and my balaclava (Well it gets draughty on sentry duty). My trusty whip is ready and I've stuck a few feathers in my waistband (in case anyone runs out).
Base camp is stocked with provisions and I'm ready to roll.
Bella was found sleeping rough outside basecamp perimeter so I've sent her to you and she's eager for a little "chat".
While I'm on sentry duty I'll answer Ryan's question. I like two scenes in The Mummy, the one where Evie is drunk and loses consciousness just before she goes to kiss Rick. Call me an old romantic (and trust me nobody does in real life cos my romantic instincts are very deeply buried) but I just like the interaction between them.
The other scene I like is the one where they are in the hotel room and Rick is trying to pack the case, while Evie keeps emptying it. I don't know why I like that scene but I often run it back and watch it twice.
Mostly I like the humour of both TM and TMR. The relationship between Rick and Evie just adds to the enjoyment of the films.

Wow! I seemed to miss another whole day of real life drama! For what it's worth, David, don't let this job bring down your spirit. No job is worth aggravation. True, we have to expect to take shit no matter where we go we shouldn't be driven mad (or like Michael Douglas in Falling Down lol). There is always something better out there. I wish you all the best.

P.S. I'm waiting for another update. What can I say - I'm greedy & impatient. hahaha

Peace and Love - Steven :)

Take it easy,David, maybe that job didnt corresponded to you, let me tell you that i left a job cuz mi intuition told me that was not for me and i have now something according to my capacity and i work in tele marketing right now

My two favorites "MUMMY" scenes are the Plane`s chase and O`Connel shooting Imhotep at the Hotel`s room in Cairo and off course that first battle at HAmunaptra`s ruins that scene was a great hommage to such classic films like BEAU GESTE or KARTHOUM (that one with Charlton Heston and Sir Laurence Olivier)

Thanks, for the link, Ryan, i think its sure that Universal wanna take the chance to tie in "GOLD MONKEY" with the new "Indiana Jones" film just like the producers of this series did back in early 80s when "RAIDERS" hit the screen, so am not surprised that this was planned. I would like if in this same vein some directer would make a film based on James Rollins novel "SANDSTORM" its a wirlwind action packed book and with a wild fantasy realm with Lost cities, big gun battles in the desert and a very astounding secret.

Hi Family,
I'm joining you, Maz, on sentry duty and I'm bringing vodka - purely for medicinal purposes, of course.
DavidC - Like you I am having a week from hell. Sometimes coming here is the only thing that gives me a lift. It's so hard to be positive when all around you there is misery and negativity. But you've gotta try. Cultivate the dream, whatever it is. Breathe joy in. I know it's hard, bro. Sometimes it takes everything you've got. And then you get knocked down and have to start all over again. I know - it's happening to me right now. But don't give up. It's just a blip.
Favourite Mummy scenes... I love it when they are boarding the boat at Cairo and on the boat when Evie says "Are we going to war?" LOL. And especially in her cabin when she is all flustered thinking about that kiss -well,who wouldn't be! LOL.
Stay cool, family.
GO TEAM COHEN
PS Bella is a little minx, Captain. Don't trust her!

before Indiana Jones, Rick O`Connel and even Lara Croft there was ALLAN QUATERMAIN, the original first modern adventurer created by english 19 century novelist Sir Henry Rider Haggard who appeared for the first time in KING SOLOMON`S mines, a novel which popularized the theme of treasure hunters, lost civilizations and legendary treasures and it was adapted several times on film.

hi everyone
another work day comes to a close thank god.
hi suzie huni i wish you a lot of happiness and i hope you can get over your troubles soon huni thanks for the kind words same to you indy vs rick glad to see your still here bro i haven't really been on since you started writing i like it that you told me bout you leaving a job i really can relate with that one i think that is the problem i'm having here i'm more of a people person social and i like to deal in more admin type jobs this is the opposite but i don't no how to get out of the situation my hearts telling me to leave but my head doesnt no how to i think Ryan's right trust in my gut with this one.

ok i haven't even thought about the mummy how bad is that i can't pick a favourite scene theres to many i love when evies stacking the book shelves and the boat scene and when imhotep kisses evie and rick says "hey look what i got" and shows him the cat, i love the way he flies out the window in a sand storm. i love it in the mummy returns where the mummy monkeys or pigbes or whatever there called and running across the log bridge and rick throws a stick of dynamite, they fight over it and it blows up lol that scene is soo funny aww i could go on but alas i can't i must leave but i'll be back soon to visit all you wonderful people thank you all for the little break from the real world i wish i didn't have to leave.

Aye Captain Cloudy Sir ! Double-D soldier reporting to the commander !...Excuse me if I´m late Cap, but I´m coming from my hairdresser. I got a few hair extensions and dark henna, just trying to look a little more Egyptian... or Chinese, why not ?? LOL.But I´m groomed now and ready to rescue our Brother in distress, Sir. Maz and Suzie are ready too. ...eerrr... Captain Cloudy ? Are you hearing me, Sir? Cap ?...what the hell is that disturbing noise that´s coming from you tent ?May I come in ? Caaaaapppiiiie... Oh, there´s something on the floor ... woooow... panties...whose panties are these ? and OMG, isn´t that a big bra hanging from the lamp ?? OOhh I see...you are still on that " little pre-mission" with Bella, aren´t you ? Well, make it quickly Cap...It´s starting to rain hard...this place seems to be highly floodable, and I don´t wanna end covered with mud...hmmmm....or maybe you can get me that guy of the video ? You know, the one who is " happy as a pig in..." ?? If so, I wouldn´t complain if I ended covered with mud...hehehehe !! LOL LOL LOL ( sorry... bad girl! LOL )

DeeDee
HELLLLL YEEEAAAHHHH!!!! GO TEAM COHEN !!!!!

David, get yourself down the job centre and get another job!!! You'll feel better as soon as you do, because you will be taking control of the situation. At the moment you feel helpless....well, don't be helpless....take action!!!!
Delilah, Did I hear you say you were up for a little mud wrestling?? You little minx you!!!!
Captain Cloudy desist with your bad behaviour. You're supposed to be on duty and rescuing David!!!!!!
Indy, do you ever do anything else apart from watching films? You must be a complete film buff.
Suzie, I hope you are having a better time of it. I've had a bad couple of days but I'm dealing with it. Don't let life get you down. You'll still be here when all those nasty little problems have faded away.

Whoops!! Sorry about that Double D, I was a little "tied up". That little minx Bella sure knows how to prepare ya for battle. Sorry too Maz, LOL. Well anyways, it's mission time and I'm ready to bring out the big guns. But first we need a diversion, does anyone have any suggestions?? Help is on the way David!!!!

Oh yea Ryan, my fav. scene will always be the sand wall sequence from Mummy 1. When Imhotep's face appears and he smiles, that sh*t was AWESOME!! I also liked that beginning scene from Mummy 2 when we are first introduced to Rick in the tomb with the cob webs. That silhouette shot of him was really nice.

HELLL YEAAA!!! GO TEAM COHEN!!

Hey, Indy, is 'Sandstorm' pretty good? I am always looking for a new read. I have been reading the original James Bond novels in order, and I love them. But, I am always on the lookout for a new character to follow. Is it a series or a stand alone?

Awww yeah, that silhouette shot ! I remember it took my breath away the first time I saw TMR !!I love the scene when Rick´s saying to Evy that she and Alex are the only things that matter to him...isn´t he sweet?...And when he goes back and take Evy in that " these guys don´t use doors" moment...Not to mention when he jumps through the fire to rescue Evy ...whhoooaa...

Yeah Maz, you heard perfectly well what I said ...LOL
Hey Suzie, what´s up...are you feeling better Sis?
David, just resist a little more hon...Bella the minx is leaving the Camp. right now...I´m gonna check Captain´s " status"; if he is kinda sober ( ish) we´ll be on our way pretty soon ( Maz,Suzie I´m gonna need a big jar of black coffee and a cold shower to revive the Captain... )

Delilah
HELLLL YEEEAAHHH!!! GO TEAM COHEN !!

Oh, and Indy, are you sure you meant to put a link to that and not League of Extraordinary Gentlemen? ;-) I got it on DVD as a blind buy a long time ago, and I know how bad it is.

Stay strong, David. Keep fighting the fight. The right answer will come to you.

Maz, I am a romantic, too. I love those little throw away moments that tell so much about the characters. I love those comedy moments in the hotel room, too, because they aren't jokes or anything like that, they come from inside the characters.

Kudos to Steven for the reference to 'Falling Down.'

Indy, I love the opening battle at Hamanuptra. Something about that Goldsmith music and those guys lined up on the wall.

Haha, Suzie, I love when they are at Cairo, and they are talking about Rick, and then he just pops in and says "Anyone I know?"

Cloudy! I love both of those moments. I love when Imhotep smiles and then Rick blasts the sand with bullets. And I get chills when we see Rick all in silhouette. He's so badass, and the track listing on the extended soundtrack lists that part as 'Tomb Raider Rick.' Very cool.

Now that I've posted a few consecutive times, I will pause for station identification.

Ry

One more...

Dee, I love when he jumps through the fire. I love it every time. It is a very cool shot. Stephen Sommers knows how point a camera at stuff and make it interesting.

I am starting to get the feeling that the females on here would like to see Evy get snuffed out so they could be the one for Rick O'Connell to come home to...

" they could be the one for Rick O'Connell to come home to..."
BIG SIGH...yeah, if only !

Delilah

no,Ryan, its nt a link to the Lxg, its a link to a very unrated 1987 film ALLAN QUATERMAIN AND THE LOST CITY OF GOLD starring Richard Charmberlain and Sharon Stone

its an stand alone novel, Ryan its abouth a young archaelogist woman who hires a "fortune soldier" in search for a mythical lost city which was part of the kingdom of the Queen of Sheba, again there is Haggard`s influence in the tradition of KING SOLOMON`S MINES and "SHE"

PS.
Its doesnt sound familiar to you this plot?? LOL

Awesome videos guys.

Hi Family! Thanks Maz,Delilah and DavidC for your wonderful words. It really does make a difference.
Ryan, Evie is safe! There's enough of the big guy to go round!LOL. Love that Cairo harbour scene. It's all bright and you just know they're off on an adventure. "Nothing there to like at all" as Jonathan would say.LOL.
Finally figured out what was going on. I had been hit by a troll mind bomb!LOL. Yeah, completely took me out for a few days but I should have been more alert. Has anyone seen the Captain since yesterday? Maz and I have the black coffee sizzling away. So, we need a diversion to rescue David. Let's get Bella back to bellydance her way into his work place, stun everyone with her hip action, and pull David out. It's getting dark already (4pm) so we can fly in on the dirigible by cover of darkness. I suspect he too has been troll mind bombed and is in danger of disclosing his undercover spy status. Captain, drink the coffee and let's go.LOL.
GO TEAM COHEN!

PS Omid Djalili has new comedy show on BBC1 tomorrow night.

Howdy Mummy Family!

Last night I was just going through a box I have of some of my collections (read: mummy stuff...lol) and I came across the 1st issue of The Mummy: Valley of the Gods comic book. It was supposed to be a mini series comic that would come out during the release of The Mummy Returns. They never printed any of the other issues after #1 b/c I think the company went out of business or something. I was really just interested in knowing if any of you have this issue (as do I a HA). Or maybe if you even know what I'm talking about (definitely mostly no?!?)

P.S. I even have the DVD & tapes of The Mummy cartoon that was on KidsWB.

Love :)

I was going through some Mummy stuff I have last night and I came across the 1st issue of The Mummy: Valley of the Gods comic. Do any of you remember this? It came out when The Mummy Returns did and was supposed to be 4 issues. They never published the rest b/c I think the company went out of business or something. Anyways, I was just interested in if any of you have this or know what I'm talking about. (probably not. lol haha)

Love n Peace Steven

P.S. Thanks Ryan for the kudos. I know my movies!

Sorry for the double posts. I thought the first one didn't go through. :)

Hello Mummy family. I've been a bit busy today and I'm a little sad as I heard that a very close male friend died this morning. However, I'm still up for rescuing David (cos he needs our help and support).
Suzie, I'm glad you've identified your problem. Must defuse the troll mind bomb pronto!!!!! Keep your chin up or else you'll look like you've got a double chin (just jesting sister).
Definitely watch Omid Djalili. He is very good at stand up comedy!!!!
Steven, you were right. I haven't got a clue what you were talking about. It must have been after my time!!!!
DeeDee, Rick O'connell coming home to us? Yep, I could cope with that (even sharing him with the rest of you)!!!!!

Dear friends, Suzie, Maz, and David, I´m sending you all my good vibes...I wish so badly, that we could meet and comfort each other, I mean " personally"...Anyway, I know that all our good wishes can go the distance and reach everyone of us :)
Also, my beloved friend KL is walking through that " bridge over troubled water":(
So, I´m sure that all our Mummy family will join me sending a ton of good vibes to her ! ( Hi, KL darling I hope that you are feeling better my dear ...)
Well, gotta go now...I´m starting a pretty busy weekend ( job, arrgghhh...plus, one of those " overpopulated" italian-family-reunions -you know what I mean, don´t you Maz?- LOL )
I´ll see you ASAP.

Maz, my heart goes out to you. Lost a friend 7 weeks ago - motorcycle accident. He was only 22. I can't give you a proper hug so here's a virtual hug instead. Hang on in there KL. Isn't it strange how we have come together at this moment, like we are meant to help each other. I'm so glad I've "met" you all. Thanks Delilah - you are fabulous. And everyone else in this expanding family.
GO TEAM COHEN!
Suzie

Suzie, Thanks for the hug and I'm sorry to hear of your loss too. Twenty-two is no age at all. You are right about us all coming together on this site when we need each other. My dear departed mother used to say,"God works in mysterious ways". I happen to think she was right.
Thanks DeeDee for your good wishes and I hope you survive the "Italian Family reunion".
KL, we are all sending you our love and positive energy so, hopefully, you'll feel better soon. I think David feels better already, don't you David? Thank you also for your kind words.
We're a team on this site.....Team Cohen!!!!! If anyone is down or distressed, the others will rally round.
Let's all send positive energy to each other. That should do the trick!!!

Here's a little positive energy from ME too!! Don't take too much though, I don't want anybody overdosing on me. LOL. Gotta go, I have another busy weekend to deal with. I hope everything's still going good in China Rob. Later Mummy Fam!!

HELLLL YEAAA!!! GO TEAM COHEN!!

Hey everyone! I saw Beowulf in 3D today and just thought you may want to know that they played the trailer for Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D in, well, you guessed it...3D! It looks really good and seeing Brendan that up close & personal sure does make me happy. lol I know we have major fans of him here so you may want to check out Beowulf if even just to see Brendan. haha peace guys.

..or Angelina Jolie semi-naked! hahahaha lol! :)

OOhhhh Geeeezz...I´m in a hurry now, but I can´t help it, I have yo ask ...Steven, did you like the Journey3D´s trailer ??Can you describe it ? And, well, I won´t say " sorry, maybe it is a little out of topic..." as I used to do...cuz it seems that now, that situation is allowed on this blog ...LOL LOL LOL !! And sure thing we have major fans of Bren here ( and so darn proud of it BTW ! )
Please Bro, make the description as vivid as you can !!( Brendan´s description , I mean...not Angelina´s...) LOL LOL

See ya soon my lovely family...you all are adorable !
DeeDee
HELLL YEEAAHHHH!!! GO TEAM COHEN !!!!!

Okay, here's all the details that I remember...Angelina's naked but you never fully see...lol jk I love you all too much to disappoint.

Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D really starts out with a mummy-ish feel. You see Brendan & his wife and kid hiking. Everything comes really close to your face and it has a lot of family/adventure/mummy humor in it. You see them on their journey and they encounter strange, new places filled with color and flowers and creatures. One of the sequences that DID stand out is when they are running from one particular creature and it rips off one of Brendan's sleeves. He then looks at his other sleeve and rips it off as well. He does look very fit (hasn't he always been?!? lol) Probably due to the pre training for TM3 but I really don't know. Just so much of the trailer is of them adventuring and the scenery really coming alive and truly being an extremely visceral and exciting experience. It says in the trailer that this is the 1st live action 3D adventure (or something to that effect.) It ends with Brendan & the family looking at something and him saying "This is the center of the earth!"

I'm sorry that it is not a scene by scene breakdown of the trailer. I do recommend that if Beowulf is playing in 3D near a theater by any of you that you should go see it if even to enjoy the Journey 3D trailer. What struck me so much about it was just how far out it looked. It really did have a mummy feel to it. Especially when they are hiking in the sand/pyramid/mountain terrain when the trailer starts out.

Okay later folks and peace - Steven :)

Woooowwww thank you Steven !!Sounds amazing ! (BTW, yes,you are absolutely right... he has been very fit ALWAYS !
LOL LOL )

Delilah.

hey everyone
just droppin in to say hi steven i would love to see a film in 3d but i don't think i can here where i
